At any rate, these plants produce huge pods that give it the name... and a lot of them. If your plea is to prosper with pods of prolonged proportions, Cow Horn is prepared to please. Pick them young to pickle or fry or longer for gumbo. Use Cow Horn as the "cattle-yst" that thickens your soups and stews.
