Said to be first cultivated after the Treaty of Paris in 1763, the Datil has its roots (pun intended) in what is now St John's County Florida.
These seed spring into plants that are heavy producers of peppers measuring up to 4". With heat ratings up to 300,000 Scoville units if you eat just one of these I think that "Dat-il do ya!"šŸ¤£
